New Budget Binder {Free Printables}

A few months ago I created a budget printable for my budget binder. Well after a month or two of use I decided to redo my binder. I just wasn't happy with what I had and wanted something that looked a little more fun and gave me what I was needing. I have created a few different printables for my budget binder to really revamp the entire thing.

Upcycled Trays

Who likes to take garbage and make it into something awesome? That would be this girl. It falls in line with my need to keep things organized on a budget. This project was pretty much done for nothing. The supplies I used were already in my possession, but if you want to be technical about things the paint I used I had bought a few weeks ago on clearance. The colors that I purchased were $0.99 each. Score!

Homemade Natural Deodorant

It works! It actually works! I was super excited about making my own Natural Deodorant but very skeptical that it would actually work. I think the first few days that I used it I asked W if I smelled at least twice a day. If I had he probably would have told me by now, he's not one to sugar coat things for my feelings.

My New Hair Routine!!

Since moving to the southwest I have had the worst time with my scalp. It is always dry, itchy, and uncomfortable. I have always had a little problem with my scalp being a fair skinned red head with rather sensitive skin but nothing like I have experienced for the last year. I recently set out on a quest to try and fix this very frustrating and bothersome problem.

Bedside Lamp Refab

Finally folks this project has been finished! I started this back in May just before we moved to a new apartment. The move created a little snag in that I couldn't find where I had packed the fabric that I wanted to recover the lamp shades with! It was eventually found but then work got in the way and I didn't have a good chunk of time to just finish. So with out further ado lets get to it.

Green Tea Sugar Scrub

Sounds yummy doesn't it! Although you could eat this lets just stick to its intended use. The best part about making your own products is you know what is going into the product and you can customized it to your liking. Living in an area that you can count on your fingers the number of days there are clouds in the sky means sun exposure all the time. With fair skin I am constantly worrying about burning and sun damage. In need of a good body scrub I found a great way to help with my sun worries and make my skin feel silky smooth. This body scrub is super easy to make and makes your skin feel silky smooth. You probably have all the ingredients in your kitchen to whip up a batch right now.

Thrifty Thursday #3

Filling my car up with gas is something I find to be the biggest strain on my wallet. I budget for it every pay check but its so hard parting with that cash to put into my gas tank. I don't have the opportunity to take the bus or car pool due to my job or I would would be right on that. I decided to do a little investigating for myself and for you to see if there are any little tricks that I can added to my daily commute to work that will help me increase my gas mileage. I have picked out the ones that are the simplest and for me easiest to remember to do while making my way to and from work each day.

Oat Flour Face Scrub

 I have never been one prone to acne but I am normal and get the occasional pimple here and there. I try really hard to wash my face everyday but usually fall short. I find that when I do wash my face everyday I tend to break out more, my skin gets dry, and my pores look awful. I think this is due to the products that I use. Stuffed full of chemicals and harsh ingredients that my skin just does not like. So to try and fix this problem I decided to make my own natural facial scrub.
